Firefighters

Mohawk Valley Fire is proud of the men and women in the fire service. Many are volunteers which is the staple of the Fire Districts across the country.

Volunteers:

Being a firefighter is a big commitment. Mohawk Valley Fire's Volunteer Recruits go through Firefighter Academy. Receiving ckassroom and hands-on instruction.

Every firefighter is valued.

Fire departments across the nation are historically dependent on the volunteer force, but volunteerism is rapidly dropping off.
