Firefighter Kyle Heflin joined Mohawk Valley Fire in 2013 as a volunteer firefighter. After some time with the district, Firefighter Heflin became a resident volunteer for about a year and has continued to serve the Mohawk Valley after his time as a resident.
Kyle recieved a Unit Citation from OFCA in 2020 for going above and beyond during the Hoiday Farm Fire.
Kyle works for the Oregon Department of Forestry, and when he is not volunteering, he enjoys spending time with his fiancee and young daughter, and being outdoors.
