Cody Welling joined MVRFD back in 2007, and has been serving the community of the Mohawk Valley since. He quickly moved in as a resident volunteer after he started, after his time as a resident he continued to volunteer while he attended LCC to recieve his Paramedic license.
Throughout his time with the district, Cody worked his was through the ranks to his current position as a Captain. Captain Welling assists in training and emergency call response.
Cody currently works at Salem Fire. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors by hunting and fishing, and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Mohawk Valley Fire District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Mohawk Valley Fire District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
